Lapseki is a small town on the Asian shore of the Dardanelles in Çanakkale province. Ferries run from here to Gelibolu, and in 2022 the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge opened here, linking the two sides of the strait. Aydoğan Yapı Proje İnşaat has built Defne Evleri in Lapseki, a four-storey development of 56 apartments that is already completed.
There are two layouts: 2+1 units of 105 m² and 3+1 units of 130 m². Both are fairly spacious for their type, so even the two-bedroom option leaves room for a proper living area. Defne is the Turkish word for laurel. The small number of flats and low-rise buildings create the relaxed setting typical of small coastal towns. The nearest airport is about 32 km away in a straight line.
